| Poems have magic, especially when they come from the heart. They can touch us, move us, delight us, enlighten us, make us laugh, make us cry, and both soften and enrich our deepest memories. Poems are the ties that bind one stranger to another, often in friendship, sometimes in love, always in understanding. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

You may call the words you write poems, verses, rhymes, songs, essays or stories, but in the end it won't matter to any but yourself. They are words. They are magic. They are instruments of understanding and comprehension. They are, above all else, the Passions in Poetry. What is a love poem? Is it necessarily a poem about romantic love? About romance? Marriage and commitment? Or is a love poem something else entirely? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Many of the poems that are featured in this site have some memoir of travels that have taken me far and beyond the shores of Southen Africa. It is true that the quest for the TRUTH is something that is rare. In a society filled with materialistic onslaught, people have forgotten about the beauty of life and love. Many find it hard explaining themselves, what better way to express yourself than words. This website is a dedication that goes out to those who love the TRUTH and to those who have made my lifelong journey a memorable one.
